TRAIN TO HEADLINE THE 2018 ROUNDUP MUSICFEST

51 North Productions Ltd. and Live Nation Canada, producers of The Roundup MusicFest, are pleased to announce TRAIN as this year’s headliner for Calgary’s most anticipated corporate event to be held on Wednesday, July 11^th, 2017 at Shaw Millennium Park.

Mid-90’s roots revival rockers, THE WALLFLOWERS, and Canadian alternative rock band, THE GRAPES OF WRATH, will join multi-GRAMMY and Billboard award-winning band TRAIN for one of the most anticipated events of the summer!  “We are also excited to announce the final bill will include a 4x GRAMMY^® nominated internationally acclaimed SURPRISE ARTIST to be announced the third week of June.  Our SURPRISE ARTIST is one of the biggest and most recognized Artists in Roundup history, and will perform immediately prior to TRAIN”. said Sarah Geddes, Communications Director for the Roundup Musicfest.

President of Live Nation Canada’s Western Region, Ian Low, commented “The Roundup is well known for bringing world-renowned artists to the stage, and this year is certainly no different.  We are very excited to see the response to our final lineup” said Ian.

The events inaugural year at Shaw Millennium Park in 2017, featured Duran Duran, Walk off the Earth, and Capital Cities.  Shaw Millennium Park was selected as the ideal venue for its infrastructure, central location, LRT access, green grass and audience engagement opportunities with unobstructed views to the stage from virtually every site location.  “The response to our new venue was overwhelmingly positive, and we are very excited to be returning to this exceptional downtown location” added Sarah Geddes.
