A bit about Nilah:
Meet Nilah! A very cute 3 year old doggy whose absolute favourite thing to do is explore with her nose!
She will sniff you all over when you get home with her tail wagging. She will play sniffing games if you hide things in the backyard, and she loves to find all the messages left behind by other animals in the neighbourhood!
She is a very social girl who loves making new friends! You can catch her wiggling with excitement when she runs into somebody to say hi to! Nilah is very happy to play fetch with a rubber toy and will do this over and over, and will often put the toy right in your hands for you to throw it again. She is also a fan of tug-of-war.
Whether she’s cuddling on the couch, playing ball or heading out to explore, Nilah brings a unique energy with her wherever she goes. She is ready to share her loving and spunky personality with you!
DOG JOG
Walk or jog to help end animal cruelty with the Calgary Humane Society’s Dog Jog! This inspiring 5km event raises vital funds that support life-saving programs focused on education, protection, rehabilitation, and giving animals in need a fresh start.
Join them on June 6, 2026, at North Glenmore Park for a fun and meaningful day. Bring your dogs, family, and friends for a 5km walk or jog, followed by an afternoon festival celebration!
Dog Jog also shines a spotlight on their Animal Protection Enforcement Team and the incredible work they do in our communities to fight animal cruelty.
COCKTAILS FOR CRITTERS
Join the Calgary Humane Society on October 17, 2026, for their annual Cocktails for Critters fundraising gala.
