A bit about Porscha:
Porscha is an 8 year old female Pit Bull Terrier. She is a loyal, loving, and all around amazing dog who is seeking her new best friend! She’s a well mannered pup with excellent leash skills, fully housetrained, and comfortable being crated or left home alone.
To top it off, she’s super smart, conquering even the toughest puzzle feeders and mastering skills from “sit” to “roll over”. Porsha appreciates consistency in life – she’s happiest when her dog bed stays where she left it, and her family lets her approach for snuggles when she’s ready!
Age is just a number to Porscha – this older girl still has the best zoomies (especially when her person comes home) and will never turn down the opportunity to go on a hike! When she’s home, though, she likes to kick back, relax, and soak up all the love.
Porscha is equal parts adventure and snuggles, and knows when the time calls for both.
DOG JOG
Walk or jog to help end animal cruelty with the Calgary Humane Society’s Dog Jog! This inspiring 5km event raises vital funds that support life-saving programs focused on education, protection, rehabilitation, and giving animals in need a fresh start.
Join them on June 6, 2026, at North Glenmore Park for a fun and meaningful day. Bring your dogs, family, and friends for a 5km walk or jog, followed by an afternoon festival celebration!
Dog Jog also shines a spotlight on their Animal Protection Enforcement Team and the incredible work they do in our communities to fight animal cruelty.
COCKTAILS FOR CRITTERS
Join the Calgary Humane Society on October 17, 2026, for their annual Cocktails for Critters fundraising gala.
