Women’s Health Symposium 2026
We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Women’s Health Symposium 2026 — a full day dedicated to championing women’s health and wellbeing.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026, Calgary Health Foundation, University of Calgary O’Brien Institute for Public Health, and the Sex, Gender and Women’s Health Research Hub will host the second annual symposium at the iconic Calgary Central Library.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the event will feature expert-led talks on today’s most pressing women’s health topics, interactive exhibitor booths, engaging Q&As, and a special screening of The (M) Factor: Before the Pause.
Best of all? It’s completely free and open to everyone — all ages, all genders, all backgrounds.
They’d love to connect with you to share more about this exciting event and the groundbreaking work happening in women’s health across Calgary. Event chair Dr. Erin Brennand is available for interviews to discuss why she launched the symposium, the impact it aims to create, and her vision for the future of women’s health in our city.
There are many ways to give toward advancing care, wellness, and research in order to deliver the best healthcare outcomes to our community.
