The Roundup MusicFest
Get ready - The Roundup MusicFest is taking over Prince’s Island Park this July, delivering top-tier entertainment with global music stars in an unforgettable outdoor festival setting!
Dust off your boots Calgary! One of the most iconic and prolific female vocalists of the 1980s, Pat Benetar with partner, producer-musician and guitar virtuoso, Neil Giraldo, will headline The Roundup MusicFest on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Prince’s Island Park. With four Grammy® Awards, nineteen Top 40 hits, and decades of electrifying live shows, this legendary rock duo brings their larger-than-life persona to Calgary’s premier outdoor music festival!
Joining Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, Pat Benetar + Neil Giraldo, is a powerhouse lineup of Canadian talent, including 8-time JUNO Award winner and Canadian Music Hall of Fame member, Tom Cochrane, and former INXS frontman, JD FORTUNE. JJ WILDE, the first female vocalist in 25 years to win the coveted “Rock Album of the Year” JUNO Award, will open the festival.
This summer marks a major milestone: ‘25 Years of Roundup’, with two and a half decades of unforgettable past performances including The Tragically Hip (2012), Def Leppard (2013), Bryan Adams (2014), Journey (2015), and KISS (2016) at Fort Calgary, to more recent crowd-favourites like Duran Duran (2017), Train (2018), and Billy Idol (2019), establishing Roundup as a major tradition and highlight of Calgary’s festival season.
“We’re pulling out all the stops for the event’s 25th year,” said Sarah Geddes, Communications Director, The Roundup MusicFest. “Roundup has certainly earned its place as one of Calgary’s most beloved festivals, and Prince’s Island Park is the perfect backdrop for a night of nostalgic fun!”
