EVERCLEAR
Everclear, one of the leading alternative rock bands to emerge from the ‘90s led by vocalist, guitarist and founder Art Alexakis, released their new live album, Live at The Whisky a Go Go, via Sunset Blvd Records on September 8, 2023. In addition to the live show, the 17-track collection includes two bonus studio tracks including their new single “Sing Away,” a powerful song addressing teen suicide and bullying written from the perspective of a grieving parent.
Live at The Whisky a Go Go, available digitally, on CD and 2-LP Coke bottle green vinyl, was recorded and filmed in late 2022 during Everclear’s 30th Anniversary Tour in Alexakis’ hometown of Los Angeles and marked the first time the acclaimed quartet performed at the famed venue. The album features all the hits and hidden treasures from throughout the band’s extraordinary catalog, including “Father Of Mine,” “Wonderful,” “Santa Monica,” and “I Will Buy You A New Life” as well as last year’s single “Year Of The Tiger” in addition to “Sing Away.”
Since forming in 1992, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Wonderful” and “Everything To Everyone,” as well as numerous videos, thousands of shows, and various other accolades, including a 1998 Grammy nomination. The band’s 1993 debut album, World Of Noise, released on the Portland independent label Tim/Kerr Records, paired with their significant efforts to break into college radio and the buzz they’d created within the Portland music scene, attracted the attention of major labels, including Capitol Records, which signed the group soon after.
Beginning with their major-label debut, 1995’s platinum-selling album Sparkle and Fade, and its massive chart-topping hit “Santa Monica,” Everclear was soon a household name and catapulted into the masses, thus allowing their impressive three-decade career to prosper and endure. In 2019, Alexakis was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and has since donated one dollar from every ticket purchased for his performances to charities such as Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and National MS Society. To celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2022, Everclear reissued World Of Noise as a special remastered, deluxe edition, making the album available for the first time on digital streaming platforms with 6 bonus songs in addition to its original 12 tracks. In addition to his thousands of Everclear performances over the band’s lengthy career, Alexakis created and runs the annual Summerland Tour, which features a package of popular ‘90s alt-rock bands, and he released his first solo album, Sun Songs, in 2019.

A lot of talented children have probably been asked by a parent to entertain family and friends, maybe in the living room, maybe sing a little, play an instrument. No big deal and a good way to get used to performing for others. But when Jason Bonham was a small child and got called in to entertain, the family friends he played his drums for could be anyone from Jimmy Page to some of the guys from the group Bad Company. That's what happens when your father is drummer John Bonham, one of the original members of the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin.
At the age of only five, Jason could play the drums, at least a scaled-down set of them, with skill. When he was 17 he was a member of the band Air Race. The group signed a record contract with Atlantic Records, recorded one album, and opened for big names like Queen, Meat Loaf, Ted Nugent, and AC/DC. John Bonham died in 1980, but Jason, who has marked a few places in music history himself, has stepped
in from time to time to help keep his father's memory alive.
In 1988, Jason took his father's spot in the televised, first-ever Led Zeppelin reunion at the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary concert, which included Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. Later than year. he went on to tour with Page and recorded the album Outrider with him.
By 1989, he completed the album The Disregard of Timekeeping, in his new band called "Bonham". One of the tracks from this first effort, "Wait for You," earned him a gold record. By 1992, with partners like Canadian vocalist Daniel MacMaster, guitarist Ian Hatton, and bassist and keyboardist John Smithson, Bonham finished another album: Mad Hatter.
Jason teamed up with greats like Paul Rodgers, Slash, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck and others in 1993 to work on a Tribute to Muddy Waters album. The record's success brought a nomination for a Grammy Award. A year later, Jason, along with Rodgers and Slash, appeared at the memorable Woodstock II. That same year, he recorded a new album, Peace 4 Me, in his group now known as Motherland with Marti
Frederksen on vocals.
In May 1990, Jason married Jan Charteris, in Stone, Kidderminster in a wedding reception that included a jam with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones. Jason represented his father when Led Zeppelin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in January 1995, with his sister Zoe by his side. He soon put together another solo project which culminated in "In the Name of My Father - The Zepset" cd, which featured the songs of Led Zeppelin. Proceeds from the album went to charity. The album followed up with When You See the Sun.
The Healing Sixes soon caught his attention and decided to tour and record them the Indiana-based band, from 1999--2003. In 2001, Jason appeared in the film Rock Star which starred Mark Wahlberg. The band in the movie, Steel Dragon recorded the songs featured in the movie and the soundtrack.
Following an album with Debbie Bonham, the younger sister of John Bonham, Jason was invited to drum for hard rock group UFO. In 2006, he also recorded with Joe Bonamassa.
Jason starred with Ted Nugent, Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) and Scott Ian (Anthrax) on the VH1 reality tv show, "SuperGroup", in May 2006. The musicians formed a band called Damnocracy for the show, during which they lived in a mansion in Las Vegas for twelve days and created music. Most recently, Jason has performed and recorded with Foreigner.
On December 10th, 2007, Jason played drums in the most anticipated concert of all time - the Led Zeppelin reunion at London's O2 arena with surviving members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant

Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER’s hits are approaching 15 million per week. With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time” listing. At times, the band’s weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source: Nielsen SoundScan). FOREIGNER‘s catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time. Founded in 1976, FOREIGNER‘s debut album produced the hits “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” The album Double Vision followed, as did a string of hits including “Urgent,” “Juke Box Hero” and “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” Those songs helped give FOREIGNER‘s next album, 4, its impressive run at #1 on the Billboard chart. At the zenith of 80’s sound, FOREIGNER‘s fifth album, Agent Provocateur, gave the world the incredible #1 global hit,” I Want To Know What Love Is.” This musical milestone followed the recordbreaking song “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” FOREIGNER‘s founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones. A visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER‘s influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock’s greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE
The definition of a rebel is someone who goes against the grain. For close to forty years now, Blue Rodeo has taken the road less traveled – and succeeded far beyond anyone’s expectations. The band emerged in the early 80’s as a countrified rock band in the era of hair metal and glossy pop. Despite sticking out like a sore thumb (or maybe because of it), their single “Try” became omnipresent on radio across Canada and set in motion a three-decade-long career of headlining every club, theatre and arena in Canada. In 1993, when grunge rock was squeezing commercial rock off the radio, they recorded their most acoustic album, 5 Days In July, and scored their biggest hit selling over a half million copies of that one record alone.
Now, with their 16th Warner Music Canada studio album – Many A Mile – Blue Rodeo’s successes are measured in terms that include induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2012), receiving a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award (2014) and acknowledgment that the band has steadfastly defined itself by its own terms, and in the years that ensued, sold in excess of four million records.
Reflecting back on nearly four decades of successes and those early Blue Rodeo days, both Jim and Greg are able to fully appreciate where the band sits in the pantheon of music. “Success seemed really real when we were entertaining people at The Horseshoe. That was the top of the heap for us,” Cuddy says. “When you look back, you realize that it has just been this beautiful dream.”
THE FRONTIERS
The Frontiers embody reckless abandonment, they are the quintessential “rock out” band. This energy paired with a unique flavour of pop-rock originals makes the group an explosive ingredient to any event. The robust sound of The Frontiers is filled with ingredients of country, folk, rock and pop. The group was the Calgary Flames first ever in-game band from 2019 – 2023 and has rocked stages across western Canada and shared their music at over 1,500 gigs in 10 years. There’s no slowing down the wave that is carrying the project to infinity and beyond!
CHILLIWACK
Rising out of the ashes of psychedelia in 1969, Canada’s legendary Chilliwack released 12 albums over a 15-year period producing numerous Canadian and international hits including “Lonesome Mary”, “Fly At Night”, and “California Girl” in the ’70s; and “My Girl (gone gone gone)”, “Whatcha Gonna Do” in the ’80s. All this work led to fifteen gold and platinum certifications, a host of awards, high-profile TV appearances and coliseum concert tours.
Chilliwack’s reputation for consistently powerful shows continue, and with the live CD THERE AND BACK still winning over new fans and delighting long-time ones, Bill Henderson and the band are rocking like never before. Hearing the revitalized Chilliwack of today is like hearing those songs for the first time… all over again.
STREETHEART
2019 saw the return of Streetheart to playing live shows after a two-year hiatus to mark and honour the passing of lead vocalist Kenny Shields in 2017. Original founding members Daryl Gutheil and Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve along with long-time Streetheart alumnus Jeff Neill are joined by Paul McNair on lead vocals and Chris Sutherland on drums to reignite the songs and legacy of one of Canada’s most respected rock and roll bands.
Since the band’s inception in 1977, Streetheart has always prided itself in presenting their music with the highest level of skill, energy and execution and the current lineup has delivered on their promise to continue that long tradition of musical excellence. The band received rave reviews show after show throughout 2019 and is as strong musically as it ever has been. With a list of chart-topping hits that include “Action”, “Under My Thumb”, “Here Comes The Night”, “Hollywood”, “Tin Soldier”, “What Kind Of Love Is This”, “One More Time”, “Snow White” and “Look In Your Eyes,” along with the most requested tracks from their catalogue of platinum albums, Streetheart’s ability to deliver top quality shows to their audiences night after night is guaranteed.
